Step 2. Teams provide their team court lists

After consulting with their Local League Coordinator (LLC) to determine the number of matches to be played, captains of teams providing courts submit a list of several dates and times available at their club. The list is submitted with their “Team Entry Information”. Captains are typically asked to provide 10-20% additional dates to allow for rescheduling rainouts or resolving conflicts. In some instances, more than one team may have its “home” courts at the same site (see DuPont CC in Figure 2). When this happens, teams are asked to specify dates that do not conflict with other teams’ dates at the site, or the LLC determines the dates each team uses. Once all captains have submitted their team courts list, the site, date, time and court information is organized in rows using MS Excel as shown in figure 2.

Step 3. Combine the district and team courts lists (The “courts list”)

The district courts and team courts lists created in steps 1 and 2 are combined to create a master list of all courts available for league play. In Figure 3, Archmere and Brandywine are district courts while Wilmington CC and DuPont CC are team courts.
