What is World Team Tennis?

WTT is co-ed teams competing in a format that consists of 4 no-ad sets. One set each of men’s and women’s doubles ending with 2 sets of mixed doubles. Total games won from all sets determines the winner. Substitutions and coaching are allowed during the match.

World Team Tennis (WTT) Summer League

Northern flight: Wilmington and north courts

  • A.I. Dupont HS 
  • Brandywine HS

  • Delaware Tennis Center
  • Other court locations

Western flight: West and south of Wilmington courts

  • Dickinson HS
  • Christiana HS
  • Glasgow HS

  • Delcastle Tennis Center
  • Other court locations

League starts June 1 and goes to August 1. Matches are minimum of one per week. Team with most games won is the flight winner. Playoffs are the week of August 2.

Levels: 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5

Format: Ladies doubles, men’s doubles, two mixed doubles

Roster: minimum two men and two ladies; maximum of 10 players.

  • As an individual: you will be put on a team and will take your turn as the acting captain
  • As a group of individuals: type in the comment section who is in your group and you will be put on the same team and will take your turn as the acting captain
  • As a complete team: have all your players list the team name when registering
