The Delaware District is a volunteer-based, nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting tennis opportunities for juniors and adults of all abilities and backgrounds. 

It was known as the Delaware Tennis Association until 2000 when the Middle States Section, a section of the United States Tennis Association, recognized the District as the official body of tennis in Delaware.

Since 1955, membership has grown to more than 2,500 individuals. In addition, organizational memberships include clubs, corporations, foundations, schools, parks and recreation facilities. 

Our mission is to encourage all players to join in the fun of competitive and recreational play and to take advantage of numerous programs offered by the USTA.
