About the USTA/Middle States/Delaware District

The Delaware District is one of six districts of the United States Tennis Association's Middle States section (USTA/MS).

The USTA/MS/Delaware District (USTA/MS/DD) encompasses all of Delaware.

A volunteer-based, nonprofit organization, USTA/MS/DD is dedicated to carrying out the goals of the national association within its region, particularly with respect to promoting tennis opportunities for juniors and adults of all abilities and backgrounds.

The Delaware District was known as the Delaware Tennis Association until 2000 when The Middle States Section, a section of the United States Tennis Association, recognized the District as the official body of tennis in the Delaware area.

Since 1955, individual membership in the USTA has grown to more than 2,500.

In addition organizational memberships include clubs, corporations, foundations, schools, parks and recreation facilities.

Our mission is to encourage all players to join in the fun of competitive and recreational play and to take advantage of numerous programs offered by the USTA.
