Another Tennithon for the history books.


Thanks to the dedication and hard work of volunteers including DCC staff, Rob Wirth, Marta Drane, and Troy Donato. Tennithon 2015 turned out to be a great night for all involved. Over 60 young tennis enthusiasts came out to play tennis well into the night at the DuPont Country Club to raise money for the Delaware Tennis Foundation. Read More

Middle States Hall of Fame 2014


The 2014 Middle States Hall of Fame inducted Jay Lapidus, Leslie Pixley, Scott Tharp and Laura Travis on October 17th at Deerfield Golf Club. Over 200 people came out to celebrate their contributions to tennis and the community. Read More
 

After School Tennis Program Completes Its Third Year


For the third year in a row, the USTA Delaware District with funding from the Delaware Tennis Foundation has sponsored After School Club Tennis at schools throughout the state. Read More
 

DD Teams Advance to Nationals


Congratulations to the following Delaware District teams that advanced onto USTA League National competition: Fifty-Five Fun (55+ 8.0 Women) captained by Kathy Bevans & Robin LaPerle will represent Middle States in Surprise, AZ from October 31 – November 2, and the Burt team (65+ 7.0 Men) captained by Bruce Burt will compete in Surprise, AZ from March 19 – 22, 2015. Categories include: Family, Pro, Organization (both profit and non-profit), Web Site, Tournament Director, Community Tennis Association, Media, Community Tennis Coach among others. Fall Club Tennis Volunteers Needed


This fall the USTA DD is sponsoring the After School Club Tennis program at various schools throughout the state. This program is run for 6 weeks. A certified pro or coach is provided for each location. We need volunteers to help these pros/coaches with the students on court. Volunteers will supervise drills and match play and help organize the groups. Training is provided. The program will start the week of September 15.
